Air precision chuck APC

Higher accuracy of the clamping system, grants higher quality and concentricity of the workpieces.This leads to a better productivity and lower costs. Therefore MicroCentric high precision air chucks are the ascendent clamping systems with accuracys of 1,3 µm until size 250 created for implication processing. All MicroCentric chucks are suitable for ID and OD clamping. Equally precission vices are available for milling. Their easy handling on set up and at working, the high accuracy and especially the precisely controlled clamping force are making APC chucks to a brilliant clamping system.

All MicroCentric air chucks have a built- in, double effective clamping cylinder. Inside this cylinder a piston is located, wich is getting axial moved. Done by specific, on the piston fixed actuators a radial movement of the base jaws is getting grant. The base jaws itselves are getting guided by a high precise lapped T-Nut, to reach a maximum result of lifetime and repeat accuracy. The general supply of air for actuation is getting granted by an air tube, on stationary vices with lateral bores. The chucks can get actuated by all kind of multi-port-valves. The air has to get treated by an air filter regulator lubricator unit. The workpieces are getting clamped done by top jaws, which get precise adapted after current process requirements.
